I showed up on friday unsure of what to expect. I barely made it on time due to pulling into the wrong complex and not being able to find the staircase up to the office. I met a few of the employees and then was given my first assignment. I needed to take a photo with at least ten of the people that I met.

Some pictures were more on the serious side.

While others were more comical.
The more time I spent in the office the more comfortable, and less terrified I got. Then we started to prepare for the party, taking out the trash, stocking the fridges, and helping the Moe's guy set up. As people began to enter for the party the weather took a turn for the worse. A steady downpour outside discouraged several people from coming to the event. Nevertheless the party must go on; I got to meet several new people and learn what job they did and how it all intertwined with the business.
I even got to witness a rolling chair race through the middle of the party. I couldn't have picked a better place to intern!
