Go Garner Preparation

The grand opening of the new office in Garner is just around the corner. The only problem was, we had no food or drinks for the attendees. Kari (Double O) Yono and I set out to fix that problem. Our first stop was BJ's; we had a long list to work on.
This is the cart that I was about to put under serious stress...
During our first trip inside of BJ's we were just getting non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for the party. Little did I know what that actually meant. We filled my cart within minutes and then realized that we (and by "we" I mean Toby The Pack Mule) needed to grab another.

A about thirty minutes later we had almost everything that we could possibly need. We had arrived at Kari's favorite part of shopping for parties, wine selection.

In the right edge of the picture notice Kari's empty cart...
I could not help Kari with the wine because, being 17 means you cant drink alcohol. So I am by no means the wine aficionado. Instead I made conversation with this nice lady handing out samples. She was in the middle of looking for a new house. I told her about the party and invited her. She said she would be there and thanked me for the invite, but never showed up at the party.

Meeting new people is what this business is all about!

With our carts full we decided that it was about time to head to Garner to drop off the load. By now I am assuming you would like to know why Kari is making this face...

This is the "wow that is a big number" face

This is where I had planned on ending the blog but I had no idea what was in store. We left the store and I rode the cart all of the way to my car. Which I had to use my Tetris skills to pack fully.

Within seconds of closing my trunk, guess who pulled up? Your neighborhood officer friendly. Kari asked for them to arrest me but they refused and walked into BJ's.

I was wondering how this situation would have differed if they had arrived minutes sooner.

Thanks for tuning into yet another blog in The Adventures of Toby the Intern!
